  1. Read Psalm 51, and then Psalm 32. How do David's emotions change as he confesses and is forgiven? Do you relate to this?

  2. What areas of your life are you trying to hide from God? What are 2 things that you would be ashamed that people knew about you?

  3. How would you respond to the statement: "There is never a good deed done by you that does not have sin in it that needs to be repented of." In what ways do you think and live as if you are good enough?

  4. Do you turn to God in trouble? What do you turn to instead? Why? How satisfying are those alternatives?
