The King And His Kingdom - 9

Luke 2:22-40

What does it look like when you are waiting on something from the Lord? Are you praying, fasting, worshipping, and seeking His manifest presence and His coming again?

How does knowing the Messiah came from a poor family (only sacrificing two pigeons or doves) impact your view of your Savior? What about your view of your economic situation? That of those around you?

In v.34-35, Simeon pronounces a blessing that sounds very difficult to consider a blessing. How do you treat the difficulties promised in the Bible as blessings?
